Additional Information

Practices

  • NFL FLAG League practices are 1 hour before each Sunday game

  • No additional mandatory weekday practices—weekly commitment ~2 hours

Equipment

  • Included: A reversible jersey and flag belt are provided for every player. Jerseys and flags will be distributed at orientation or on the first game day.

  • Mouthguards: Mouthguards are required and are not provided by the league. Lineberger Orthodontics offers free mouthguards for Girl Power players—simply call any Lineberger Orthodontics location and mention you are with Girl Power to claim yours. Mouthguards may also be purchased through our registration portal or from any retailer of your choice.

  • Required Attire:  League-issued jersey and flag belt, pocket-free shorts or pants, mouthguard, and plastic-molded cleats or athletic sneakers.

  • Optional: Football gloves

Jerseys and flag belts will be ready at Orientation or at the first game.

Everything included: jersey & flag belt. Players will also need pocket-free shorts, a mouthguard, and plastic cleats. Gloves are optional.

Coaches will reach out to families before Orientation.

No—practices are 1 hour before Sunday games only, so weekly commitments stay low.
