GP Carolinas PRIME is the competitive tournament team pathway of Girl Power Carolinas, built for girls who are ready to train, compete, and develop at a higher level.
PRIME offers 10U, 12U, 14U, and High School athletes a place to be challenged through competitive practices, athlete development, sports performance training, and regional and national tournament opportunities.
Our goal is to support each player’s journey while preparing athletes for the next level of girls flag football, including high school, college, and beyond.
PRIME teams are selected through tryouts. Athletes will be evaluated on skill, effort, coachability, competitiveness, and overall fit for the team.
PRIME runs on an annual season from August to August, with a short winter break and summer break built into the schedule.
Families may choose the full annual commitment or split the year into two separate seasons.
PRIME teams typically practice 1–2 times per week, depending on the team, season, and tournament schedule. Practices are held at Mooresville Middle School, and practice days and times vary by team.
All PRIME athletes are also expected to play in the Girl Power Carolinas league to continue getting valuable game reps throughout the year.
Tournaments are usually held on Saturdays, but may sometimes take place on Sundays or span the entire weekend, especially for travel tournaments.
Annual PRIME membership is $900 for the full August-to-August season.
Families who prefer to split the year into two separate seasons may do so at $500 per season:
Season 1: August–January
Season 2: February–August
PRIME membership includes a custom player kit, structured team practices, position-specific development, speed and agility training, vetted coaches, and regional tournament entry fees.
PRIME is designed for athletes who are committed, coachable, competitive, and excited to grow in a team-first environment.
Interested families should complete the PRIME interest form to receive updates on upcoming tryouts, team placement, and season details.
