GirlPower Carolinas
GirlPower Carolinas athletes and families use the confidence, teamwork and leadership developed through girls flag football to serve communities throughout Charlotte, Lake Norman, Mooresville and Fort Mill.
More Than a Game
At GirlPower Carolinas, our commitment to girls extends beyond practices, games and tournaments. We believe athletes should have opportunities to serve, connect and understand the difference they can make in their communities.
Through youth sports community outreach, local givebacks, service projects and partnerships, our athletes and families come together around causes that reflect our values of confidence, teamwork, leadership and compassion.
Each project is designed to be meaningful, accessible and rooted in the Charlotte-area communities where our families live and play.
Family and Community
GirlPower Carolinas hosted its first annual Mother-Daughter Game across our Mooresville and Fort Mill locations in celebration of the women who support and encourage our athletes.
More than 50 moms participated in a day centered around family, fun and connection. GirlPower Carolinas donated $5 for every registered mom and collected paper goods to support Hope House Foundation.
The event gave athletes and families an opportunity to enjoy the game together while contributing to an organization serving the local community.
Athletes in Service
GirlPower Carolinas PRIME proudly supported the 2026 Spring Break Food Drive by helping provide food for 20 local families through Bags of Hope.
Athletes, coaches and community members worked together to collect and prepare food bags for families who needed additional support during spring break.
This project gave our athletes a direct opportunity to serve others, work as a team and understand that leadership matters beyond the football field.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
GirlPower Carolinas athletes and families joined the Neighborhood C.A.R.E. Center in support of its Manna for Life community food program.
Volunteers helped support the collection, packing and distribution of food for local families experiencing food insecurity and other difficult circumstances.
Participating in Manna for Life gave our athletes another opportunity to put compassion, teamwork and service into action while supporting neighbors within the Lake Norman community.
Serving Our Local Communities
GirlPower Carolinas serves athletes and families in Mooresville, Fort Mill and throughout the greater Charlotte area. Our community outreach reflects the same local connection that defines our girls flag football leagues and programs.
By connecting youth sports with service, we want athletes to see themselves not only as players and teammates, but also as young leaders who can positively affect the communities around them.
